The Artists Gala Reception and Awards Night is Thursday, February 11, 2010, starting at 6:30 p.m.
FVAA sponsors a regional juried art show every year. The current show, our 47th annual, kicked off Saturday, January 9, 2010 with Entry Day. The show runs through March 2010. Jury Day was January 10, 2010.
The show hangs at the Fairfield Center Gallery at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts, 1035 Texas Street in Downtown Fairfield.
The 47th Annual Juried Art Show showcases 122 pieces of art chosen by a jury of three professionals from the Bay Area and Sacramento arts community. This year, over 250 pieces of art were entered by artists from a wide regional area of Northern California and representing all mediums of art. In the past, art has been submitted by artists as far away as Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Entry forms are available here and at Art Explosion, the Fairfield Center Gallery and Lawler House Gallery.
The Juried Art Show is produced by FVAA artists and volunteers with a grant from Advocates for the Arts. The Fairfield Visual Arts Association is funded entirely by donations, grants, and membership support.
